The Founder's Corner: Competitive Pinball Returns to Miami

At Pinball Passport, everything starts with pinball. It is the anchor and the reason we got into this in the first place. Our passion for the game and for building community around it drives everything else we do. The jukeboxes, the trivia, and every other experience are built on that foundation, because our first priority is always to grow the pinball community in Miami.
At Duffy’s Tavern, that vision is coming to life. We now have two AMI jukeboxes, one inside and one outside, so guests can set the vibe wherever they are. We also launched AMI Trivia in September, giving everyone free 24/7 entertainment through the AMI app while on site. October is a multiball moment for Pinball Passport, and each ball tells part of the story.
“It has been far too long and we are proud to bring tournaments back for our community.”
Ball One is locked with the return of competitive pinball to Miami through the first IFPA sanctioned tournament in the city since 2017. It has been far too long and we are proud to bring tournaments back for our community.
Ball Two is locked with the format itself. This tournament will feature six Stern Insider Connected machines, making it the first Stern Insider Connected only IFPA tournament ever held in Miami. Players will be able to track their progress, earn achievements, and feel part of something bigger while competing.
Ball Three is locked with the honor of having Vince Gelormine joining us. Vince is Florida’s number one ranked player and one of the most respected tournament directors in the state. He will not only compete, he will also teach us how to set up and run the event the right way. His experience and success on the competitive stage make him an incredible guide for our first sanctioned tournament.
Now that all three balls are locked, it’s your turn to activate multiball by hitting the shot and joining us at Duffy’s on October 21st.
May your shots be dialed in and your flippers strong,
Jose
